I hurt myself at work about 6.5 years ago i got a lawyer someone told me about but i have found they suck, they were supposed to take care of some things with comp i haven’t heard from them in about a year i think so i have no idea what they are doing if anything. From what i can tell they are a small firm that has accepted way too many cases and so they aren’t giving the cases the attention they deserve. My question is does anyone know what law firms that new york workers comp insurers really hate the rabid dog type attorneys that will do everything possible to set things straight, the lawyers that when the comp people see their name say oh god not them. Because I’m tired of being bent over a barrel. I’m forced to work 4 hrs a day which kills me i get up go to work come home lay down where I’m stuck because I can barely move and often am completely incapable of getting back up again until the pain starts to go down all the while I’m struggling to pay bills. preferably within about an hour and half drive from watertown NY. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Olinsky Law Group
Generally attorneys don’t charge for an initial consultation. You should ask about that when you call for an appointment.
You will need to tell them about your previous attorneys and your case so far. You should be able to get your file from the previous law firm.
You may actually have a malpractice case against your previous attorney. You may need to pursue that avenue if you are unable to get workers’ comp.
